Give Your Cooling System a Complete Inspection

Prevent a catastrophic failure with a comprehensive cooling system inspection.  Masterwerks can help your car from overheating and causing serious damage to the engine by inspecting and correcting the following cooling system trouble areas:

• Flush dirt, bugs and leaves from the front of the radiator.
• Inspect the radiator cap. Replace it if the rubber gasket is broken, dried out or missing.
• Check the condition and level of coolant. If it is rusty, flush the system and replace with a 50/50 mixture of water and vehicle specific coolant.
• Inspect radiator for leaks and proper coolant flow.  Inspect radiator hoses for cracks or soft, mushy condition. Tighten all clamps. Replace hoses as needed.
• Inspect heater hoses. Replace swollen or cracked hoses.
• Inspect all engine belts for wear and cracks. Replace if worn, cracked or glazed. Adjust loose belts.
• Inspect cooling fan or fans, clutches, motors and shrouds for proper operation and speed.
